Product class POWERTURN Y

POWERTURN Y vertical machining centres equipped with X-axis, Z-axis, Y-axis and C-axis belong to the most technologically advanced machines manufactured by TOSHULIN, a.s. company. These double-column vertical machining centres are manufactured with table diameters ranging from 1.250 to 4.000 mm.

Main advantages of the POWERTURN Y vertical machining centre:

table is located on a linear guideway system, which moves in the Y-axis
linear rolling guideways are used to move all travelling groups
servo drive and the ball screw are used to drive the slide with the table (Y-axis)
slide with the table is clamped for turning operations
ram cross section of 240 x 240 mm, 1500 mm ram stroke, tool magazine capacity up to 150 positions, special automatic magazine for tool heads and heavy tool adapters
machines are equipped with the third controlled C-axis and a live spindle drive
machines can be equipped with various tool types – beginning with tool holders for conventional tools of 40 x 40 mm and finishing with the automatic exchange of cutting heads specified for turning operations, types Sandvik Capto C6, C8 or Kennametal KM 63/UTS 63, KM 80/UTS 80. Customers can use the automatic tool exchange with tool types ISO 50 (40), HSK 80 (100) or Sandvik Capto C5 (C6)
machines can be equipped with special adapters such as the rotary B-axis continuous contouring head that enables drilling and milling operations in defined angles (utilising tool types ISO 40 or Capto C5) or the large horizontal milling head with a separate drive for special turning tools (D’Andrea)
machines are entirely closed by protective guards, equipped with unique chip management and mist extraction systems, allowing to use high-pressure coolant
machines can be equipped with the pallet exchange system serving for the workpiece exchange that can considerably reduce the machine idle time necessary for workpiece setting and levelling
